Important Notice (Read in 30 Seconds)

  • Not a Law Firm: Docketry is an automated software utility and drafting toolkit. We are not a law firm, advocate, or legal consultancy.
  • No Legal Advice: The templates, calculators, and checklists provided on this website do not constitute legal advice, legal opinions, or case strategy.
  • No Advocate-Client Relationship: Generating or downloading a document on Docketry does not create an advocate-client relationship or confidential legal privilege.
  • Verify Before Filing: You must always verify documents and regional stamp duty requirements with an enrolled advocate before presenting them in court or before registrars.

1. No Advocate-Client Privilege

The materials, document templates, statutory fee calculations, and procedural checklists provided on docketry.co.in are for informational and self-help administrative purposes only. Your access to or use of any tool on this Platform does not create, constitute, or establish an advocate-client relationship, confidential legal privilege, or attorney representation between you and Docketry or its maintainers.

2. Automated Self-Help Drafting Only

The document drafts generated by Docketry (including legal notices, cheque bounce demands, consumer complaints, affidavits, and power of attorney deeds) are standardized boilerplate structures based on broad Indian statutes.

The automated engine cannot evaluate the factual merits of your case, determine evidentiary admissibility, assess jurisdictional nuances of local district benches, or customize strategy for complex multi-party litigation. The quality and accuracy of any generated output depends entirely on the information you input.

3. Requirement for Independent Professional Review

Indian law is dynamic and subject to frequent statutory amendments, state-level rule variations, and binding judicial interpretations by the Supreme Court of India and respective High Courts.

You are strongly advised to consult an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of India before serving formal demand notices, presenting plaints in court, executing deeds involving substantial assets, or responding to criminal or income tax proceedings.

4. No Guarantee of Judicial or Administrative Outcomes

Docketry makes no warranties or representations that documents generated through our tools will:

  • Be accepted without objection by every individual court registry, sub-registrar officer, police authority, or government department;
  • Result in successful recovery of money, favorable consumer dispute orders, or defense against criminal charges;
  • Satisfy specific local court circulars or procedural formalities unique to particular taluks, districts, or tribunals.

5. Non-Liability for Outcomes and Losses

Docketry, its creators, authors, and affiliates expressly disclaim all liability for any loss, injury, claim, expense, penalty, or adverse judgment resulting directly or indirectly from:

  1. Any error, omission, or typographical mistake in generated drafts or calculator estimates;
  2. Reliance on statutory timelines that may have expired or been miscomputed by the user;
  3. Action taken or omitted to be taken based on checklists, guides, or FAQ answers on this Platform.
